Return of the Girl Next Door

"[Holzer] comments on daily life with searing insight and barbed humor, tempered with compassion." Winston-Salem Journal.

"A thoughtful, engaging, and enjoyable series of wry, wistful, humorous and occasionally acerbic observations and anecdotes..." Triad Style review of Girl Next Door Runs Amok

"She takes you on tours -- takes you in places and brings you out. And the juxtaposition of things that were funny and things that just tear at you was spectacular." R. O'Connell, audience member.

"Kim Holzer is a writer of the first order, a gifted performance artist, and totally off-the-wall---a crazy redhead whose fertile mind never stops working. Rarely have I seen anyone as adept at thinking on their feet."--Les Roberts, voted "Cleveland's Favorite Author"; award-winning writer of The Indian Sign

Kim Holzer is back with more hilarious, true-to-life adventures. Return of the Girl Next Door is Holzer’s one-woman return to the Montage Showcase Ensemble. This time, she brings us peonies in orange juice cans, adventures with body glue, and life with allergies a go-go. Directed by Nathan Ross Freeman, and presented in association with the Artistic Studio Theatre.
