welcome to the stack o' crap book club In a couple of weeks, when I return from the National Poetry Slam, I'm making a few minor tweaks to the site that I think you'll like. Actually, you probably won't even notice the first one. I've decided to remove the poetry and photography pages, because I thought of something way funner. (It's a word. Shut up.) Mark today in your calendar, because this is the day that I initiate everyone into the Stack O' Crap book club! Let's hear a collective, "woo-hoo!" If you've been hanging around for awhile, I think you've probably figured out that I read a lot. Now, don't get me wrong and think that all I read is utter garbage. At any given time, I'm reading two or three different books, and some of them are worthwhile. However, I'm not real finicky. I will read anything if the mood strikes. Which is not entirely bad if you think about it. I know a little bit about a lot of different subjects, which helps me maintain somewhat above-average conversational skills. And you know what we say in the Lioness Den --- above average is good enough for me. Believe it or not, I've set standards for the books that I review for the Stack O' Crap book club. They're pretty low, but here you go anyway: 1. All selections are either acquired at huge discount (remainders), OR in a used bookstore, OR are free. Like someone schluffed it off on me cause they didn't want it anymore.
