My one-woman play is coming up soon! Get info and a downloadable PDF for Girl Next Door Runs Amok.

another harried entry

Oooh, Denizens. Do forgive me for my raggedy-ass postings of late. I just don't think you'd be interested in reading about my recent cycle of work, rehearse, don't sleep, don't eat. At least I'm not interested in reliving it at the moment. I'll reflect on that later, I'm sure.

Wednesday night has been a wee bit unnerving, but good in the long run. One of our local theatre reviewers came to my final dress rehearsal. My first thought--you're going to review a DRESS REHEARSAL? ACK! My fears were put to rest, however, when he said that (1) he was just there to gather information so he could cover the show, and (2) he enjoyed it! Woo-hoo!

I've maintained the map info below for anyone who needs it. Tomorrow is opening night. Unfortunately, I am not one of those who responds to stress by eating. You'd think this was good, the stress diet and all. But after awhile your belly starts to hurt. And I don't need to lose weight, anyway. Mom will be in town next week. She won't leave without getting a meal or two into me. That's what family does.

Hey, Denizens! I've got some last-minute info and reminders for the show:

The theatre suggests that you reserve tickets in advance. You can call 336.723.7473 to do this.

All showtimes are 8:00 p.m. .

Arriving from out of town? Here's a map to the theatre. You can also click the driving directions link, and enter the appropriate information. Our downtown area is small, and it's built on a grid--the numbers increase as you drive north. If you do get disoriented, keep this in mind. There is free street parking on Third and Fourth Streets. There is also a parking garage on Cherry Street at the Adams Mark Hotel. From there, walk a block-and-a-half south to the theatre.

I look forward to seeing everyone there!
